2012-2013 Schedule!
 

Hello to all and thank you for being a part of CMAS! Below you will find our proposed meeting schedule and list of club events for the 2012 - 2013 season. Please note the changes that we have made based on your suggestions. The meeting time has been moved back to Sunday evenings once again and the dates are more consistent. For the most part, meetings are held on the second Sunday of every other month. We hope that you find the changes helpful and we hope to see you all there!

We have several group trips planned for the months in which there is not a meeting. If there is enough interest in the event, the club will rent a van/bus again just like we did last year for the NJRC Frag Swap. A good time was had by all and we would like to try to do this sort of trip more often. If you have an idea or suggestion for a destination (frag swap, public aquarium, store tour, etc) that you think would be a fun trip, please bring it up in this thread or contact a board member. One such trip that we are trying to work into the schedule is a trip to Pennsylvania to visit Sanjay Joshi and see the Penn State reef tank as well as a tour of his personal tanks at his home. Stay tuned for more details on this as it is shaping up to be a great trip!

We are also seeking volunteers to host a club-sponsored tank tour! Please post in this thread, start your own or contact a board member if you are interested in participating. We would like to have three or four members within a twenty minute drive of one another participate. The date is Sunday March 10th.

The meeting location is to be announced in the coming weeks. We have several options but, unfortunately, many are cost prohibitive. Board members are working hard to work out a location. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to contact any board member!

All in all we are very excited about this upcoming CMAS season as we've got many new and different events planned. If you've never come out, make it a priority to come out to meet members, swap corals and make new friends in this exciting hobby! We look forward to seeing the old faces again and meeting new ones!

-Sunday-December 9, 2012 – 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. _ Holiday Gathering/Frag Swap/Equipment Yard Sale and POTLUCK DINNER!
