i was doing a waterchange a couple of weeks ago and i saw a white spot on the cord of my k3. i cleaned off the little bit of algae that was on the cord and noticed there was 2 spots in the cord where the black outer casing was missing. i email hydor but figured they were not going to do anything since i do not have the receipt for this powerhead. they said to mail them the k3 and they would mail me a new one. i came home today and found it on my porch.
