Hello and welcome to the new CMAS web forums! http://www.cmas-md.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
I have created two categories: "General Discussion" and "Classifieds". I have divided Classifieds into three forums: "Equipment", "Livestock", and "Dry Goods". Please use this thread to suggest new categories and forum topics.
One possible category to add would be a Private area for CMAS members only, if anyone would find that to be useful. For instance, I intend to create an area for the CMAS board to use for coordinating club business that may be password protected.
Please use this thread to provide feedback of any kind related to administration of this web board. This forum software (ikonboard), although freeware, is powerful, full featured and highly configurable, so there is much we can do to change the operation and look of this web board. As time permits I will be tweaking things, I realize a lot of customization remains to be done.

Gary,
Great idea. I tried posting a message a minute ago, but it doesn't appear to have been recorded. This is a second attempt.

You are welcome Tom, and thanks for the compliment! http://www.cmas-md.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
BTW, I was away this week for work and couldn't respond to susie's problem (registering on this message board). I'm glad she worked around the problem. I will investigate the first account that she created and see if I can figure out what went wrong.

Here's some for ya. Put together a CMAS members tank picture site, could take some pics at the meetings also. Could have a LFS praiser/basher board, Hmm Aquarium Center comes to mind. Might get some better quality/prices possibly get them (any LFS) to take better care or their live stock be it fish or invert, good service = good patronage. http://www.cmas-md.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif
Thanks:OJreef http://www.cmas-md.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
P.S. GREAT job Gary!

Thanks OJ. Regarding the LFS forum, I'm not sure that is a good idea politically, if people get abusive of a LFS on our web site, the LFS might blame CMAS for the bad press. Some LFS are ambivalent about our club as it is because we are somewhat competitive (since we trade/sell frags among ourselves and probably for other reasons). I agree that constructive criticism could be beneficial, but the forum may have to be moderated and that takes time. Perhaps some of the CMAS officers can weigh in on this topic?

We are 2 years new to the marine aquaria hobby. We have a 75 gal Oceanic reef/fish tank and will soon upgrade to 120 - 150 gallon. We were very excited to find this local club/website. (Our application for membership is in the mail!http://www.cmas-md.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif The forum is great!
